What is ConstructSafe?

ConstructSafe is a national health and safety competency assessment for the construction industry. The test verifies the competency level of any individual to a common, industry agreed framework.

It is run by the Construction Safety Council of New Zealand which is a not for profit organisation committed to the safety of our industry. 

Currently only the Tier 1 test is available which is for anyone and a requirement for anybody working on an NZ Transport Agency State Highway must hold a Tier 1 ConstructSafe card (since 1st July 2016).

What to expect

Test Info:

• Up to 10 people can be tested at a time.

• Each test lasts approx. 1-1.5 hrs.

• You will be asked 50 questions to assess your knowledge of health and safety

• The Interactive test is delivered online (on a tablet)

• You can bring your own headphones or use ours

• All candidates must bring valid ID (NZ Drivers license, firearms liscence or passport)
